PET Metal Heating Film
PET metal heating film is a heating element fabricated by patterning special metal foil into resistance circuits, then laminating the circuits between two layers of insulating PET films.
It features surface heating, high thermal efficiency, energy‑saving performance, fast temperature rise and low thermal inertia. Its flexible substrate enables uniform heating for non‑flat objects. The maximum operating temperature reaches 150°C. Its service life is 10 times longer than that of traditional wire‑wound heating elements. It operates open‑flame‑free for high safety and reliability, with precise temperature control and low thermal inertia. It delivers outstanding corrosion resistance and flexible thermal distribution. Custom shapes, dimensions, voltages and heating temperatures are available upon client requirements, with no strict limits on operating voltage and temperature.
Features of PET Metal Heating Film
Compared with conventional electric heating elements, metal heating film provides the following advantages:
1. Ultra‑compact footprint, lightweight and ultra‑thin profile (generally less than 0.1 mm).
2. Excellent flexibility, with a minimum bend radius of approx. 0.8 mm.
3. Highly flexible in shape and dimension, especially suitable for miniature flexible heating elements.
4. Adopting surface heating mode, it supports high surface power density up to 7.8 W/cm². Therefore, this product series achieves superior heating uniformity and faster thermal response.
5. Different heating power and temperature requirements can be realized across separate zones of the heater, achieving customized temperature distribution over the heating surface.
6. Low thermal inertia, high‑precision and fast temperature control.
7. The insulating protective film features extremely low saturated vapor pressure and low outgassing performance, together with excellent chemical resistance, anti‑bacterial and anti‑radiation properties. Therefore, this heating film series is suitable for vacuum environments, as well as environments exposed to oil and most chemicals (acid substances, chemical solvents, general alkaline solutions).
8. Can be easily integrated with thin thermal‑insulation materials to form lightweight heating elements with thermal insulation layers.
