PET Film
PET film, fully named polyethylene terephthalate film, is also known as polyester film. It is the most widely used, highly stable and cost-effective insulating substrate in the flexible heating industry. Manufactured through high-temperature stretching and shaping processes, PET film features outstanding insulation stability, high tensile strength, excellent aging resistance and superior moisture-proof performance, making it the core base material for both printed-circuit and etched foil flexible heaters.
The PET film provides flat, uniform and consistent thickness, which perfectly suits high-precision screen printing of conductive and resistive inks, as well as metal circuit etching processes. The material is ultra-thin, lightweight, flexible and tough, not easy to crack or break. It adapts well to flat surfaces, slightly curved surfaces and gentle bending applications. It can be arbitrarily cut, hollowed and shaped into custom irregular structures, fully supporting non-standard customized heater production.
PET film delivers excellent electrical insulation performance, strong voltage resistance and extremely low leakage current. Its insulation performance remains stable during long-term electric heating operation, ensuring high safety and reliability. Furthermore, PET film features acid resistance, alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, low moisture absorption and vapor barrier properties, making it suitable for household products, wearable devices, bathroom equipment, electronic instruments, medical devices and industrial constant-temperature systems.
With a stable working temperature range from -50℃ to 105℃, the material exhibits low thermal shrinkage, no deformation, no warping and no delamination under continuous heating conditions, ensuring excellent dimensional stability. PET film is non-toxic, zero-volatile, flame-free and environmentally friendly, complying with safety standards for civil, medical and home appliance industries.
Due to its mature processability, stable physical and chemical properties and cost advantages, PET film is widely applied in mirror anti-fog heaters, wearable heating products, physical therapy heating pads, electronic instrument
constant-temperature heating, battery thermal insulation, industrial anti-condensation heating and various low-temperature flexible heating solutions.
