THICK FILM ON CERAMIC

In 2014, customers designing a new type of electric Vaporizer/Hooka came to use looking for a solution to their problem. They needed a heater that would evenly heat a chamber that could be filled with tobacco or other leaf product. The heater had to be fast, battery powered and lightweight.

Fullchance designed two versions of thick film on ceramic heaters. One heater is flat, and can be bonded to the vaporizing chamber, it has wide heater tracks covering much of the surface providing the even heat distribution the customer desired and the low mass and thermal conductivity of the ceramic provided the fast heating. The other, printed on a ceramic cylinder provided heat from all directions to heat the tobacco or other leaf product evenly, and at a controlled temperature to drive off the desired vapors without burning the leaf.
